** Room rates are in Thai Baht and are inclusive of American Breakfast, VAT and Service Charge. There will be no room charge for child aged 12 years and below when sharing same room with parents in an existing bed(s). Maximum 1 child per room.

Room Policy

Complementary:

  • - Welcome drink and cold towels upon arrival
    - Internet WIFI access in room and the whole complex
    - Shuttle bus to Lamai Beach (Shopping area) as per schedule
    - One way transfer from Samui Airport


Terms & Conditions:

  • - All rates are quoted in Thai Bath including 10% service charge & 7% VAT. The hotel   reserves the right to adjust the currency converter uses for 40 Baht = $1
    - Check-in time 14:00 and Check-out time 12:00 noon
    - Rooms used between 12:00 noon to 6 pm will be charged at 50% of the room rate.   Rooms used beyond 6 pm will be charged at the full room rate.
    - All rooms are non-smoking rooms. We are not allow smoking in the rooms, on the   balconies, nor on the beach side of the property. There will be fine for smoking up   to 2,000 Baht.
    - Rates services charge and taxes are subject to change for without prior notice
    - Minimum stay 3 nights during peak season from 20 December to 15 January   every year
    - The hotel reserves the right to demand a deposit equivalent to 1 night’s room rate    for each reserved during periods of high occupancy.
    - The hotel requires full pre-payment for each room reserved, unless prior credit   arrangements have been made with the hotel.

Cancellation Policy:

  • - Cancellation charges apply to the Merit Resort
    - Any cancellation within 7 days of arrival will be charged at 100% of the full   booking
    - Any cancellation within 21 days of arrival will be charged at 50% of the full   booking
    - 20 Dec- 15 Jan each year: 50% of full booking charged if cancelled within 45 days

Non Arrival & Early Check-Out Policy:

  • - In the event of guest non-arrival or early check-out, the Merit Resort will charge 100% of the total booking fee for the full length of stay and as per the most up to date booking confirmation.

Children’s Policy:

  • - Children aged 8 to 6 years old are required to book an ‘extra bed’ at an additional cost
    - Children below the age of 8 can stay free of charge when sharing with their parents
    - Maximum 1 child sharing room with their parents is permitted.
    - Children below the age of 16 are not allowed to participate in fitness.
    - Children below the age of 6 are entitled to 50% discount on all meal rates and they will be served half portions from the regular menus. Children aged 6 and over will pay full meal rates.
    - Baby cots for children below the age of 2 are free of charge (upon availability).
